Big Powderhorn Mountain
Big Powderhorn Mountain offers 45 trails over 253 skiable wooded acres, with 2 terrain parks, and 9 lifts at 622 vertical feet. Northern Lights Lodge is located at the Big Powderhorn Mountain near the #8 and #9 Ski Lifts. Also, a free shuttle bus operated by the Big Powderhorn Mountain Resort will pick up skiers and transport them to the mountain. Staying at Northern Lights gives guests easy access with many options so you can make the most of your time on the slopes.
Indianhead Mountain
Indianhead is a short 10 minute drive east with 30 runs on 230 acres and 638 vertical feet to appeal to all levels of skiers.
Blackjack Mountain
If you are interested in skiing more than one location, Blackjack mountain is a short 10 minute drive away. Blackjack features 26 runs, 6 lifts and 2 terrain parks with 170 acres and 490 vertical feet. Night Skiing is available, weather permitting, on Saturday nights and holiday weekends.
Mount Zion at Gogebic College
Mount Zion is an affordable recreational area located on the campus of Gogebic Community College. They have 10 slopes and trails, including a snow tubing park, cross country trail, ski and snowboard rentals, 300 feet of vertical, and popular "learn to ski" programs.
